Delegation from Moscow Tourism takes center stage at SATTE (South Asia’s Travel & Tourism Exchange), one of the largest international travel fairs in Greater Noida, India. The delegation includes representatives from Moscow City Tourism Committee and the Made in Moscow project.

Representatives from Moscow City Tourism Committee actively participated in business sessions during the event. Flagship projects like the Moscow Estates festival, highlighting the city’s historical mansions, and Moscow Tea Time, showcasing tea traditions, were presented. Moscow’s commitment to preserving cultural heritage and offering unique experiences was emphasized.
Moscow+ Interregional Routes and Business Tourism Opportunities
As part of the SATTE business program, the “Moscow+” project presented interregional routes. The initiative aims to cater to foreign travelers, including those from India, seeking multi-city experiences. Moscow showcased ready-made tourist packages combining the capital with other regions like St. Petersburg, Tyumen, and Moscow Region.

Sixteen Moscow entrepreneurs participated in SATTE, presenting traditional souvenirs as part of the “Made in Moscow” project. The diverse range of goods, including grooming cosmetics, home fragrances, and vegetarian products, attracted attention. The offerings reflected the vibrant entrepreneurship and creativity in Moscow.
The Gzhel theatre, known for its fusion of folk and ballroom dance, classical ballet, and vibrant folk traditions, performed at the exhibition. The unique dance company represents Moscow globally and showcased the rich cultural traditions of the city.

Moscow emerged as one of the main tourist destinations in Russia, witnessing a significant increase in visitors. The city welcomed 24.5 million tourists in 2023, reflecting a 37% rise from the previous year. With an array of cultural sites, thousands of gastronomic establishments, and iconic landmarks, Moscow continues to attract global travelers.
Highlighting Moscow’s family-friendly attractions, the city offers numerous opportunities for child and family holidays. With over 400 museums, Europe’s largest oceanarium, and recreational spaces, Moscow earned recognition as the Capital of Children’s Tourism in 2023 and the Youth Capital for 2024.
