MLA Shakti Raj Parihar Meets LG Sinha, Discusses Doda Development Issues

MLA Doda West and BJP’s Vice President of Jammu and Kashmir, Shakti Raj Parihar, met with Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha and apprised him of various development issues concerning the erstwhile Doda district.

In a post on X, MLA Doda West wrote, “Met with the Lieutenant Governor Shri @manojsinha_ Ji and apprised him of various development issues of Erstwhile Doda District.”

Shakti Raj Parihar was elected as the MLA of Doda West after winning from the newly created Doda West Assembly constituency, defeating his closest rival, Congress candidate Pardeep Kumar, by a margin of 3,453 votes.

Parihar has emerged as a prominent leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the Jammu and Kashmir region and enjoys a strong fan following.

Social media users from the newly created Doda West constituency are hopeful for swift development work. Road networks in remote areas remain a major demand.

Residents of the Marmat area, which played a crucial role in Parihar’s victory, are also expecting the approval of key projects, including GDC Marmat, a police station in Goha Marmat, a fire station, and other essential infrastructure developments.
