The mishap involved a minibus bearing the registration number JK06B 0469, which was en route from Khaljugsar to Doda. The vehicle tragically veered off the road and plunged into a gorge, leading to a chaotic scene.

The accident took place at Batyas, a perilous stretch known for its treacherous terrain. Eyewitnesses reported that the minibus was navigating a particularly sharp turn when the driver lost control.
