    Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha engaged with the public through a virtual platform during the “LG’s Mulaqaat” Live Public Grievance Hearing at the Civil Secretariat.

    Taking note of citizens’ complaints filed on JK-IGRAMS, the Lt Governor directed swift resolution and necessary steps for improved implementation. Emphasizing the crucial role of expedited program execution in bolstering J&K UT’s economy, he highlighted its contribution to maintaining transparency and accountability in the public delivery system.

    Expressing determination to unleash the boundless potential of the Union Territory, the Lt Governor aimed to transform possibilities into reality for the betterment of J&K in Amrit Kaal.Addressing a complaint about a deteriorating road condition in Attina, Budgam, raised by resident Sh Pralad Singh, the Lt Governor instructed the Deputy Commissioner Budgam to promptly address the issue.

    Regarding a grievance related to the Chanderseer Tilgam to Wanigam Payeen water supply project, the Additional Chief Secretary of the Jal Shakti Department assured the Lt Governor that the project would be completed by the end of December.Responding to Vidyut Vats’s complaint about a blocked drain near Jaganath Temple in Dhar Road, Udhampur, the Lt Governor directed the Deputy Commissioner Udhampur to ensure the drain’s clearance within 10 days.

    Another concern raised by Sh Payar Singh of Ganote Chakka Bhartund, District Ramban, regarding the issuance of a BPL Ration Card, was also addressed by the Lt Governor.Ms. Rehana Batul, Secretary of Public Grievances, facilitated the proceedings of LG’s Mulaqaat, with the presence of key officials including Dr. Arun Kumar Mehta, Chief Secretary; Sh R K Goyal, Additional Chief Secretary, Home Department; Sh R.R Swain, DGP; Administrative Secretaries; Divisional Commissioners; Deputy Commissioners; SSPs; HoDs; and other senior officers, both in person and through virtual mode.
