On Monday, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha engaged in a discussion with a delegation comprising former Members of Legislative Assembly (Ex-MLAs) from Scheduled Castes, deliberating on the various initiatives undertaken by the Administration for the comprehensive development of the community.
During the meeting, the delegation brought to light concerns regarding reservation in promotions and other welfare issues. In response, Lt. Governor Sinha provided reassurance to the delegation, promising appropriate actions to address these matters.
The delegation extended their gratitude to the Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Jammu and Kashmir Administration for their commitment to ensuring social justice, the empowerment of women, youth, and the overall socio-economic advancement of the Scheduled Castes community.
