Kremlin Invites Modi to Russia
Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov revealed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has an open invitation to visit Russia, as reported by Russia-based TASS. Peskov clarified that while Putin extended the invitation during a recent phone call with Modi, the visit’s details are yet to be finalized through diplomatic channels.
Peskov emphasized that the visit is subject to coordination through diplomatic channels, indicating that formal arrangements are still pending. He assured that both leaders are expected to meet in the first half of the year, either through multilateral platforms or in bilateral discussions.
Strengthening Bilateral Ties
The conversation between Modi and Putin underscored their commitment to bolstering the Special & Privileged Strategic Partnership between India and Russia. They reviewed progress in bilateral cooperation and exchanged perspectives on regional and global matters of mutual concern, aiming to deepen their strategic relationship.
