
Kishtwar Police recovers missing girl, reunites her with family

J&K Police District Kishtwar has traced and reunited a missing girl with her family after dedicated efforts.
A missing report regarding Sandhya Devi, D/O Bhej Lal, R/O Neju Saroor, Tehsil Dhrabshalla, District Kishtwar, was lodged at Police Station Kishtwar under DDR No. 10, dated 16-09-2024. Acting swiftly on the report, Kishtwar Police initiated an investigation.
Under the directions of SSP Kishtwar, Sh. Javaid Iqbal Mir-JKPS, the police team led by IC PP Drabshalla under the supervision of Dy. SP Hqrs Kishtwar worked tirelessly to trace the girl.

Following sustained efforts, the missing girl was successfully located. After completing all legal formalities, she was reunited with her family. The missing case was formally closed under DDR No. 06, dated 22-12-2024.
SSP Kishtwar, has appealed to the general public to cooperate with the police in preventing and addressing social crimes in their neighbourhood.
He assured the community that the police remain committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of the citizens.
