J&K Police Offers Cash Reward for Anti-National Activity Information
Jammu and Kashmir Police have initiated a reward scheme, offering up to Rs 12.50 lakh for individuals who provide valuable information or intelligence regarding various concerning activities like trans-border tunnels, drone incursions, narcotics trafficking, militant operations, and the presence of militants. The initiative aims to combat “anti-national activities” in the region.
Through a statement on X, the J&K Police urged the public to share any pertinent information with the respective district Superintendents of Police. They assured the public that the identity of the informant would be kept confidential.
The reward scheme seeks to incentivize citizens to contribute essential information to help law enforcement agencies curtail and prevent activities that threaten the security and stability of the region.
