On Monday, the Jammu and Kashmir Police apprehended two individuals believed to be involved in a stabbing incident in Srinagar. The suspects have been identified as Umer Fayaz, hailing from Ikhrajpora, and Imran Mushtaq Wani, a resident of Jawahar Nagar. The assault occurred on October 14th within the confines of Jawahar Nagar in Srinagar.
Both Umer Fayaz and Imran Mushtaq Wani have been taken into custody by the authorities. Furthermore, the weapon used in the commission of the crime was successfully recovered by the police.
In connection with this incident, which is documented under FIR no. 45/2023 at Rajbagh Police Station, the aforementioned individuals, Umer Fayaz Sheikh, son of Fayaz Sheikh, from Ikhrajpora, and Imran Mushtaq Wani, son of Mushtaq Wani, from Jawahar Nagar, have been arrested for their alleged involvement in the stabbing of a young person in Jawahar Nagar on October 14, 2023. The law enforcement agencies confirmed the retrieval of the weapon used in the offense. This information was provided by the Srinagar police.
