Jk Govt launches a unique initiative, allocates districts among Cabinet Ministers
The Omar Abdullah-led NC Government has allocated Districts among the Ministers of his Cabinet for the effective implementation of the Developmental Programmes and close monitoring of the public services.
Jammu, Poonch, Shopian and Amantnag districts of Jammu are allocated to Deputy Chief Minister Jammu Kashmir, Surinder Choudhary, whereas, Sakina Itoo will handle kupwara, Srinagar, Katuha and Samba districts.

Doda, Rajouri, Pulwama and Baramula have been allocated to Minister Javed Ahmed Rana, whereas, Javed Ahmed Dar will oversee kishtwar, Budgam, Ramban and Ganderbal.
Minister Satish Sharma will overlook the Reasi, Udhampur, kulgam and Bandipora districts of Jammu Kashmir.
