JK Government Dismisses Four Employees for Anti-National Activities

SRINAGAR, July 23: The Jammu and Kashmir Government today dismissed four employees from various departments under Article 311 of the Constitution of India for their involvement in anti-national activities.
The dismissed employees include two constables from the Police Department, a junior assistant from the School Education Department, and a village level worker from the Department of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj.
Imtiyaz Ahmad Lone, a constable in the Police Department from Gamraj, Tral, District Pulwama, was found guilty of supplying, transporting, and facilitating the delivery of arms and ammunition to promote terror acts.
Bazil Ahmad Mir, a junior assistant in the School Education Department from Khurhama Lalpora, District Kupwara, was involved in a drug syndicate in the Lolab area.
He was identified as a full-fledged trafficker of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances, with direct connections to the terrorist and secessionist ecosystem.
Mushtaq Ahmad Pir, a selection grade constable in the J&K Police from Kalmoona, Vilgam Handwara, District Kupwara, had established contacts with narcotic drug smugglers in Pakistan and was running a drug cartel in North Kashmir. He had direct associations with key figures in the narco-terror syndicate operating across the border.
Mohd. Zaid Shah, a village level worker in the Department of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj from Basgran, Uri, District Baramulla, was identified as a hardcore drug peddler.
He received a large consignment of heroin from drug smugglers across the Line of Control in Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK) and played a pivotal role in generating funds from the narcotics trade to support the terrorist-secessionist ecosystem in J&K.
The government has reiterated its zero tolerance policy towards anti-national elements who misuse their positions in government service for subversive activities.
