    Srinagar, Jul 30 (KNO): Jammu & Kashmir Bank is facing criticism from its customers due to an ongoing outage of its UPI servers since Monday. This disruption has caused widespread inconvenience for users who rely on these services for their everyday financial transactions.

    In a message to its customers, J&K Bank stated: “Due to an issue with the partner network, our UPI/IMPS services are currently impacted and shall be restored as soon as possible. Inconvenience caused is regretted.”

    According to details obtained by the Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the outage has left many customers struggling to manage their financial activities.

    Imran Ahmed, a shopkeeper, expressed his frustration, saying, “I depend on UPI payments for my business operations. Since the outage, I haven’t been able to process transactions, which is severely impacting my sales.”

    Asma Bhat, a student, shared her concerns: “I needed to transfer money for my college fees, but with the UPI service down, I’m facing unnecessary delays. It’s very stressful.”

    Similarly, Zahoor Mir, who frequently shops online, said he had an online order ready for payment, but the outage has made it impossible to complete the transaction. “It’s extremely inconvenient,” he said.

    Rouf Tramboo, President of the Travel Agents Association of Kashmir (TAAK), also highlighted the impact on the tourism industry. “As the tourist footfall is good in Jammu and Kashmir, we also face issues.

    Our travel agents as well as tourists also face problems, and we too wish it must be restored soon,” Tramboo said.

    The bank has promised to restore services as soon as possible, but in the meantime, the disruption continues to affect numerous customers.
