The frigid conditions led to the formation of fog, causing disruptions in flight and train schedules and causing inconvenience for numerous passengers.

Banihal town, situated along the Jammu-Srinagar national highway, emerged as the coldest location in the Jammu region, recording a low of minus 2.2 degrees Celsius. Following closely was Bhaderwah in the Doda district, which registered a minimum temperature of 0.2 degrees Celsius.
