Jammu Police Foils Four Bovine Smuggling in Akhnoor, 4 Vehicles Seized

Jammu Police tightening noose against bovine smugglers under the ongoing Operation Kamadhenu, Party of Police station Akhnoor led by Insp Rohit Gandhi, SHO Akhnoor in a series of swift and coordinated actions, foiled four attempts of illegal bovine transportation in violation of the District Magistrate Jammu’s prohibitory orders and Section 11 of the PCA Act.

During routine Naka checking at Khugga Naka, Fowara Chowk, and Pannu Chowk, four vehicles were intercepted.The animals were found tied cruelly without food or water, and the transporters failed to produce valid permissions.

Four FIRs have been registered under Section 223 BNS and Section 11 of the PCA Act. Investigations have been entrusted to designated police officials.

These actions,carried out under the supervision of SP Rural Jammu and SDPO Akhnoor, reflecting the firm commitment of the police in enforcing the law and safeguarding animal welfare.
