Jammu,19.07.2024 : On 14th July 2024, a violent confrontation erupted over a contentious plot at Ring Road Jaffer Chak, involving notorious criminals and gangsters who assaulted the opposing party.

Following the complaint, a formal case was lodged, and an expedited investigation commenced.In a decisive crackdown, Jammu Police intensified their efforts against these malevolent elements.

The swift action by the Police team of PP Gajansoo operating under the direction of SHO Police Station Kanachak, with oversight from the SDPO Domana, and under the overarching supervision of the Superintendent of Police (SP) Rural Jammu, expended considerable efforts that led to the apprehension of three suspects:

1. Sunny Sharma S/o Bansi Lal Sharma R/o Marh, Jammu2. Nikhil Khajuria alias Budhi S/o Rajinder Kumar R/o Marh, Jammu.3. Abhishek Kumar alias Abhi S/o Vijay Kumar R/o Gole Panjpeer, Talab Tillo, Jammu.

JKP successfully confiscated an array of sharp-edged weapons and baseball bats utilized in the altercation from the suspects’ possession. The accused are currently detained, and the investigation is in progress.

Further arrests in this case are anticipated in the coming days.The Jammu Police remain steadfast in their commitment to safeguarding the security and well-being of all residents.
