    Jammu Kashmir Govt Issues Order to Regulate Treasury Operations in March-End Week

    The Finance Department Jammu and Kashmir has issued a formal order to regulate treasury operations during the last week of March 2026, outlining strict deadlines for bill submissions and operational timelines.

    As per Government Order No. 106-F of 2026, dated March 18, the following cut-off dates have been mandated.

    SNA SPARSH bills must be submitted by March 25, 2026, up to 2:00 PM, with processing to begin by 4:00 PM the same day. SASCI and NABARD bills can be submitted until March 30, 2026, up to 2:00 PM. All other bills must be submitted by March 28, 2026, up to 2:00 PM.

    The order further states that all treasuries, including Civil Secretariat Treasury, sub-treasuries, and the New Delhi treasury, will remain functional from March 28 to March 31, 2026, including Sundays and any holidays, to ensure smooth financial operations.

    Additionally, National Informatics Centre (JK-NIC) has been directed to regulate the functioning of JK-PaySys in line with these deadlines and disable the system after 2:00 PM on the specified cut-off dates.

    The government has warned that any violation of these instructions will attract strict disciplinary action. Further operational guidelines, if required, will be issued separately.

    The order was issued under the authority of Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary) Shailendra Kumar.
