Iran Announces Visa-Waiver for Indian Tourists
Iran has introduced a visa-waiver program for Indian tourists, allowing a maximum 15-day stay without a visa.
The conditions include entry once every six months, and the stay cannot be extended.
The rule applies to air travel and tourism purposes only. Longer stays or multiple entries within six months require a visa.
Iran joins other countries like Vietnam, Thailand, and Sri Lanka in easing visa rules for Indian tourists.
The visa-waiver program is applicable to 33 countries, including India, Russia, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Japan, Brazil, and more.
