Infinix has introduced a new variant of the Smart 8 in India. Priced at Rs. 7,999, the new model offers 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The phone was initially launched in January with a single RAM and storage configuration. The new variant will be available starting February 8, 12pm IST, through Flipkart. The device features a 6.6-inch HD+ display, 50-megapixel dual rear cameras, a 5,000mAh battery, and runs on Android 13 Go Edition-based XOS 13.

The new variant comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, offering an additional RAM boost from the original 4GB variant. With a price tag of Rs. 7,999, including bank offers, it provides an attractive proposition for users seeking enhanced performance and storage capacity.
Display and Design Features
The Infinix Smart 8 boasts a 6.6-inch HD+ IPS screen with a 90Hz refresh rate, 500 nits peak brightness, and a 180Hz touch sampling rate. The device features a Magic Ring bar around the centred hole-punch slot for notifications, battery status, and alerts. It is available in Galaxy White, Rainbow Blue, Shiny Gold, and Timber Black color options.
Camera System and Magic Ring Feature
The smartphone sports a dual rear camera system with a 50-megapixel primary sensor and an AI-backed sensor. The front camera is an 8-megapixel sensor with an LED flash. The unique Magic Ring bar provides users with visual alerts and notifications.
Battery and Connectivity
The Infinix Smart 8 is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery and supports dual 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, GLONASS, and USB Type-C connectivity. It features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security and runs on Android 13 Go Edition-based XOS 13.

The new Infinix Smart 8 variant will be available via Flipkart, starting February 8. Buyers can benefit from a conditional, instant 10 percent discount for ICICI Bank Debit and Credit card users.
