Indian Army troops guarding the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district opened fire on Pakistani quadcopters in the Balnoi-Mendhar and Gulpur sectors. The quadcopters briefly entered Indian territory but returned to the Pakistan side after the firing. A search operation was launched to ensure no weapons or narcotics were dropped by the quadcopters. This incident follows previous instances of firing on enemy drones used for smuggling along the LoC. The Jammu and Kashmir Police have announced cash rewards for information on drones involved in such activities.
