Hundreds of New Yorkers To Descend on Tesla Showroom, Halting Business and Rebuking Musk’s Illegal Takeover of Federal Government

(New York, NY)—New Yorkers will shut down Tesla showroom in an escalation of nationwide rage against oligarchy, mass federal worker firings, and huge slashes to social services

In an escalation of the nationwide “Tesla Takedown” protests, New Yorkers will descend en masse to shut down business at the Tesla showroom in Manhattan for a second week in a row, with arrests anticipated as activists occupy the showroom and block its entrances to target Tesla owner Elon Musk. Since being installed as unelected “department of government efficiency” head, billionaire Musk has moved at a breakneck pace to slash tens of thousands of jobs at federal agencies and dismantling key offices that ensure food, health, and environmental safety to Americans.
