In the evening hours of the day, an unfortunate fire incident took place in a residential house in Rachoo area of Doda’s Marmat Tehsil. As per details gathered by VoM, the residential house, which caught the fire belongs to Late Abdul Lateef From Rachoo, Marmat. reports, the fire engulfed the two storey-house, within minutes, as the massive flames came out the house, as seen in video on social media. Short circuit is being called as the reason of fire, however VoM not authenticate this detail.

As the fire took place, the fire tenders were though sent from Doda, towards remote mountainous Marmat area, but it takes a plenty of home. At the arrival of fire service, the house was totally destroyed. However, by the grace of almighty, there was no loss of life.

The police, revenue officials also reached the report, and it is being hoped, the assesment would be done to predict the loss.

As the people, protested in Marmat, few months ago, when, a huge fire destroyed a residential house in Dehra, Prabble area of Marmat. The residents said, there should be a fire tender in Marmat area near bhargran area, from where trijunction links of Marmat are connected. However, the demand is not yet met. The residents through channels have appealed to Honorable MLA, Doda West, DDC Marmat, District Administration, and LG Administration to look into matter urgently.
