Ganderbal Police Seizes Orchard Land in Anti-Terror Operation
In a proactive move, Ganderbal Police has seized immovable property, specifically an orchard land measuring 10 Marlas falling under Survey/Khasra No.984 situated at Revenue Estate Wakoora. The property belongs to Lateef Ahmad Kambay, son of Gh Mohd Kambay, a resident of Wakoora. This action has been taken in accordance with the orders issued by the Honorable Court of Additional Session Judge, designated under the NIA Act, Ganderbal, as per CNR No.JKGB010005642024 dated 29-12-2024. The case pertains to FIR No. 110/2022 under sections 353 IPC, 13, 18, 23, 38, 39 UA (P) Act, 7/25 I.A Act, and 207 M.V Act of Police Station Ganderbal.
This significant step is part of the ongoing endeavors to address activities falling within the purview of the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA). The accused is presently under trial and is being held at Central Jail Srinagar. The attachment of the property is carried out under Section 33(1) of the UA (P) Act.
