Farooq Abdullah Skips ED Summons for Second Time Amidst Financial Irregularity Probe
For the second consecutive time within a month, Dr. Farooq Abdullah, the National Conference President and former chief minister, was conspicuously absent from the Enforcement Directorate (ED) office in Srinagar.
According to sources, despite being summoned by the department, Abdullah has once again refrained from visiting the ED office. The enforcement directorate summoned the NC president on Monday evening for questioning regarding suspected financial irregularities in the Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association. Abdullah, who has been questioned multiple times by the Enforcement Directorate, had previously recorded his statement in connection with the same case back in 2019.
