Executive Engineer attached and AEE Suspended in JK | Enquiry Initiated

An Executive Engineer has been attached, while an AEE has been suspended by Public Works Department (R&B, till enquiry. An order has been issued by Secretary PW(R&B) Department, Executive Engineer PMGSY Reasi, Neeraj Vaid has been attached to the office of Chief Engineer, PMGSY, Jammu till the enquiry.

As per order, Sarwar Mehmood, Executive Engineer PMGSY, Division Udhampur has been given additional charge of PMGSY Reasi. An enquiry has been initiated into the illegal losses during the execution of construction works on Reasi’s Gali to Moungri and Moungri to Ladda Roads.

A committee also has been framed to to conduct enquiry and make officials accountable, and are ordered to submit their reports with recommendation within 10 days.

In another order, the department has suspended Incharge AEE, (Civil), R&B Sub Division Sopore, Mubarak Gul, after he was arrested by the Anti-corruption Beureu, last month, and has been attached to office of CE, PW(R&B), North Kashmir till enquiry. Muhktar Ahmed Magray, Incharge AEE, PW(R&B), Sub Division Zainageer shall look after the charge of R&B Sub Division Sopore, till further orders.
