Ekam Sanatan Bharat Dal Ready for 2024 Elections Post-Name Change Approval
After receiving approval for a name change from the Election Commission of India, Ankur Sharma, the chief advocate of Ekam Sanatan Bharat Dal, declared the party’s readiness to participate in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections across all states and Union Territories.
Formerly known as IkkJutt Jammu, the Ekam Sanatan Bharat Dal plans to contest two parliamentary seats from Jammu-Samba-Reasi and Udhampur-Kathua-Doda Lok Sabha constituencies. The party aims to field over 400 candidates for Member of Parliament positions, all under a common symbol, showcasing its widespread presence.

Speaking to the media, Ankur Sharma revealed that the process of changing the party’s name from IkkJutt Jammu to Ekam Sanatan Bharat was initiated in April 2023 and successfully concluded on December 5, 2023, with the official approval from the Election Commission of India.
It is noteworthy that IkkJutt Jammu expanded its reach nationally in April 2023, marking a significant milestone. The first convention, held in Haridwar, saw the participation of over 2000 founding members representing 28 states and all Union Territories.
Following this expansion, State Steering Committees were established in every state, and elections were conducted to appoint State Presidents. State working committees were subsequently formed.Ankur Sharma called upon the public to cast their votes and rally behind Ekam Sanatan Bharat Dal in the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha Elections.
He emphasized that supporting the party would contribute to the political empowerment of Sanatan Sanskriti and civilization, fostering effective democratic means to advance their cause.
