
DSEJ Orders Change in School Timings for Schools In Jammu Division
The Directorate of School Education, Jammu (DSEJ), has announced revised school timings for Government and recognized Private Schools across the Jammu Division, with separate schedules for Summer and Winter Zones.
According to the official order (No. 368-DSEJ of 2025) issued on September 30, schools in the Summer Zone of Jammu Division will observe timings from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM during October 2025. Starting November 1, 2025, the timings will shift to 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM. However, schools falling within the limits of Jammu Municipal Corporation and adjoining urban areas will continue to function from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
For the Winter Zone of Jammu Division, schools will follow the new timing schedule of 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM with effect from October 1, 2025.
