Dismissed Army Man Arrested for Job Fraud in Odisha’s Ganjam
A 34-year-old man, dismissed from the Army and identified as Santosh Kumar Sethy, was arrested in Odisha’s Ganjam district for allegedly defrauding a woman of approximately Rs 1.25 lakh.
Santosh Kumar Sethy, previously dismissed from the Army due to cheating cases, promised the victim a job as a clerk in an Army college, collecting money in return.
Failing to fulfill his promise, he was reported to the police, leading to his arrest. Authorities suspect Sethy may have deceived more individuals through similar fraudulent job promises.
