Delhi Elections Results Live Updates: Initial Trend Shows BJP Leading

As of the latest updates on the Delhi Assembly election results, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is leading in over 40 seats, surpassing the majority mark of 36. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is ahead in 28 seats, while the Congress is leading in one seat.

In key constituencies, AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal is contesting against Congress leader Sandeep Dikshit and BJP’s Parvesh Verma in the New Delhi seat. Chief Minister Atishi is trailing in the Kalkaji seat, while former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia is trailing in Jangpura. AAP’s Saurabh Bharadwaj is leading in the Greater Kailash seat.

The final results will determine whether AAP’s political dominance in Delhi remains intact or if the BJP will return to power for the first time since 1998. The Congress is aiming to make a comeback after not winning any seats in the previous two elections. Delhi, with 1.55 crore eligible voters, recorded a turnout of 60.54% in the February 5 election.

Please note that these are initial trends, and the final results may vary as counting progresses.
