DC Kishtwar Reviews Developmental Projects and Inspects Key Road Works in Paddar

Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kishtwar, Rajesh Kumar Shavan (JKAS), conducted an extensive tour of Sub-Division Paddar to review the ongoing developmental projects in the region. He was accompanied by SDM Paddar, Dr. Amit Kumar Bhagat, Tehsildar Paddar, BDO Paddar, BMO Paddar, along with officers from GREF and other concerned departments.
During the tour, DC Kishtwar inspected the Paddar-Sansari road work up to the HP border, particularly focusing on the Kabban and Ungaie Nallah stretches. At Kabban Nallah, he directed the GREF authorities to expedite the completion of the bridge and ensure the road is made accessible for commuters and vehicles within the stipulated time frame. He emphasized that delays would not be tolerated.
At Ungaie Nallah, the DC instructed GREF authorities to rectify the inclined grade of the road to ensure safety and smooth passage.He also inspected various blind spots along the said axis and emphasized for the proper installation of crash barriers and road signages in spirit with the road safety measures.
A comprehensive meeting was also held with Sub-Divisional level officers. DC Kishtwar stressed the importance of punctuality, the organization of regular awareness programs, conducting public grievance redressal camps, and the timely completion of quality developmental projects.
In addition,DC Kishtwar visited Shri Machail Mata Yatri Bhawan in Gulabgarh to assess the progress of the remaining construction work. He issued strict directives to complete the work within the set timelines.
