Chhattisgarh’s First Phase of Assembly Polls to Commence
The first phase of the Chhattisgarh Assembly elections is set to take place on November 7. A total of 223 candidates, comprising 198 men and 25 women, will compete for the 20 assembly constituencies in the first phase of the elections. To ensure smooth voting, 5,304 polling stations have been set up.
Voting Schedule
Out of the 20 assembly constituencies in the first phase, 10 will have voting from 7 am to 3 pm, and the remaining 10 will conduct voting from 8 am to 5 pm. Security has been heightened, particularly in the Bastar region, to ensure a peaceful and secure electoral process.
Upcoming Phases
Chhattisgarh’s Assembly elections will be held in two phases, with the second phase of polling for 70 seats scheduled on November 17. The results of the elections will be counted on December 3.
