Ch Lal Singh Promises Restoration of ReT, SPO, ReZ Scheme
Former Member of Parliament and Congress candidate from Kathua-Udhampur-Doda Parliamentary constituency Ch Lal Singh has said that restoration of Rehbar-e-Taleem, Rehber-e-Zirat Schemes and SPOs recruitment besides regularization of all the daily wagers, temporary/ contractual employees will be his priority if he comes to power.
Addressing elections rallies at Duggan, Machedi, Lohai Malhar in Billawar/Bani area and Jakhbar in Kathua, Ch Lal Singh said with the wrong policies of BJP and UT administration, the youth of the J&K are the worst sufferers. J&K has become number one in respect to unemployment. There is massive frustration among the educated youth. Thousands of daily wagers, temporary and contractual employees are on the roads for the last many years. They are not being regularized despite many assurances. Many of them have been serving for more than 20 years.
“I am confident that people of Kathua-Udhampur constituency will offer complete support to him. It is very clear that the BJP-led Government at Centre will be voted out of power this time. In J&K strong anger is prevailing among the people against BJP and its leaders. They will be thrown out this time, former MP claimed.
While referring to the claim of PM Modi to provide two crore jobs to the youth every year, the Congress leader said instead of giving new jobs, the present government is snatching those jobs which are available in the state. Many youth from outside the JKUT are being provided jobs in the J&K while locals are being deprived of their right.
Ch Lal Singh lambasted the local BJP leaders and said they do not speak on the issue of unemployment in J&K. The ex-MP said if voted to power all the posts lying vacant will be filled up urgently and the schemes of ReT, ReZ, ReK etc will be restored.
“It is very strange that no one can ask any questions on the issues of unemployment, development, price rise and plight of the farmers”, he said adding that youth is the worst sufferer in the present era and facing unemployment as the Government is more keen in privatization and appeasing few blue-eyed Industrialists.
Ch Lal Singh made fervent appeal to the people to support him and the Congress Party for better development, restoration of statehood and to contain the problem of unemployment in the J&K state.
