CDS Commends NCC Cadets at Republic Day Camp
Chief of Defence Staff, Gen. Anil Chauhan, praised NCC cadets at the NCC Republic Day Camp 2024 in Delhi, highlighting their commendable efforts in nation-building. He emphasized that their training and character positioned them to lead the youth toward fulfilling the nation’s aspirations for development by 2047. The month-long camp, with 2,274 participants from all states and union territories, marked the largest participation of girl cadets, totaling 907. Gen. Chauhan lauded initiatives like International Yoga Day, Har Ghar Tiranga, and Puneet Sagar Abhiyan undertaken by the cadets. Earlier, on January 9, Chief of Army Staff, Gen. Manoj Pande, visited the camp and encouraged cadets to be role models for the nation’s youth.
