CCIU of JK Police District Doda Recovers Over 3 Lacs in Online Fraud Cases
Doda, June 22 – The Cyber Crime Investigation Unit (CCIU) of J&K Police District Doda has successfully recovered Rs. 3,40,000/- defrauded online during June 2024, showcasing high professionalism and dedication in combating cybercrime.
According to a statement from J&K Police District Doda, the CCIU acted on complaints from Baber Tariq of Nagni, Kahara Doda; Nayeem Ahmed of Charrote Gundana, Doda; Suresh Kumar of Kuthyara Bhalla, Doda; and Vikar Ahmed of Naiedangri, Doda. Through rigorous efforts and advanced technical skills, the CCIU team was able to recover the defrauded amount.
Established on February 7, 2024, the CCIU Doda has so far recovered a total of Rs. 23,37,555/- in defrauded money, reflecting its effective operations in addressing cybercrime in the region.
