CCIU (CYBER CRIME INVESTIGATION UNIT OF J&K POLICE DISTRICT DODA) RECOVERED ONLINE DEFRAUDED AMOUNT MORE THAN (10) LACS DURING THE CURRENT MONTH.

Doda, May,19: In a statement issued by J&K Police District Doda it was told that, CCIU (Cybercrime Investigation Unit of J&K Police District Doda has exhibited highest level of professionalism and commitment in combating against cybercrime by successfully solving and recovering huge online defrauded money amounting *Rs. 10,07,960/-* in the month of May, 2024.

While giving details J&K Police of District Doda said that the unit received complaints from complainants namely (1)Larib Begum R/O Bun Doda.(2)Zaheer Abass R/O Sazan, Doda (3) Rohit Singh R/O Dhara ,Doda (4) Mohd Rafi R/O Gandoh, (5) Sunil Kumar Sharma R/O Bhaderwah (6) Abdul Samad R/O Sharore Kastigarh, Doda (7) Danish Bashir S/O Bashir Ahmed R/O Bhalla , Doda (8)Sumesh Inder R/O Shiva Nagar Kathua (9) Wahid Hussain R/O Tantly ,Gandoh (10) Tawinda Wani R/O R/O Doda (11) Suresh Kumar R/O Bhalla Doda.

During the course of investigation, CCIU team, exhibited hectic efforts and advanced technical skills which ultimately led to the successful recovery of defrauded amount of Rs. 10,07,960 /-.

Mentionable here that CCIU Doda came to be established on 07-02-2024 and since then the unit has successfully recovered huge de -frauded money amount Rs.19,97,555* /- so far.
