Bihar STF Raids Illicit “Minigun” Factory, Arrests Arms Smuggler in Munger District
A targeted operation by the Bihar Special Task Force (STF) conducted in Munger district unveiled an illegal “minigun” factory situated in Mandare Hills under the jurisdiction of Shampur police station. The raid led to the apprehension of Mohammad Zahid, an arms smuggler associated with Mirzapur Bardah police station.
The police statement confirmed the seizure of significant items during the raid, which comprised five 7.65mm homemade (Desi kata) Pistols, two semi-finished homemade pistols, ten magazines, along with a drill machine, five base machines, five Hexa blades, 49 reti, assorted springs, and other components utilized in weapon production.
Currently, ongoing investigations are underway to delve deeper into the matter and uncover further details surrounding the illicit activities associated with the apprehended arms smuggler and the functioning of the clandestine arms production unit.
