Azad-led Party Announces Candidate for Srinagar LS Seat
The Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP) revealed its pick for the Srinagar parliamentary seat this Monday. Amir Ahmed Bhat, the DPAP’s District President, will represent the party in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections for Srinagar.
On April 19, the Udhampur Lok Sabha constituency in Jammu saw a 69 percent voter turnout during its first polling phase.
Srinagar’s parliamentary seat is set for voting on May 13. Meanwhile, the JKNC has chosen Aga Ruhallah, a seasoned leader, as its contender for the seat. The PDP’s youth president, Wahid-ur-Rehman Parra, is also gearing up to compete in the Srinagar elections.
