Avalanche Warning Issued for 10 JK Districts Amid Challenging Weather
The Disaster Management Department of Jammu and Kashmir has issued an avalanche warning for ten districts within the upcoming 24 hours due to challenging weather conditions.
According to a spokesperson from JKDMA, there is a low danger level avalanche expected to occur above 2500 meters in the Anantnag and Kulgam districts in the next 24 hours.
Additionally, there is a medium danger level avalanche predicted above 2200 meters in the Doda, Kishtwar, Poonch, Ramban, Bandipora, Baramulla, Kupwara, and Ganderbal districts during the same timeframe.
Residents in these areas are strongly advised to exercise caution and refrain from entering avalanche-prone areas to ensure their safety.
