In a significant development, a man with outstanding warrants in a staggering 14 criminal cases was apprehended on Tuesday in the Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir.

The individual in question, Umer Waseem Ghani, hailing from Bagga village in the Mahore tehsil, found himself in custody after a police operation. In light of this arrest, District Magistrate Babila Rakhwal promptly issued a detention order under the Public Safety Act (PSA) for Ghani.
