
Jashn-e-Tral Festival Organised by Indian Army’s Chinar Corps at IUST Awantipora

Awantipora, December 13: The Indian Army, under the aegis of its Chinar Corps, today organized a vibrant cultural festival titled “Jashn-e-Tral” at the Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST), Awantipora. The event brought together dignitaries, students, and local residents for a day of celebration and artistic expression.
The festival was graced by MLA Tral Rafiq Ahmad Naik, Sector-I Commander, Additional Deputy Commissioner Awantipora Mushtaq Ahmad Lone, SSP Awantipora Sajad Ahmad, ADSP Awantipora Rashid, and officials from 180 Battalion CRPF. A large number of students and local residents participated enthusiastically, making the event a grand success.

Artists from various parts of the Kashmir Valley enthralled the audience with colorful performances featuring Hindi, Punjabi, and Kashmiri songs, traditional dances, and folk music. The cultural presentations showcased the region’s rich heritage and created an atmosphere of joy, unity, and harmony.
The festival was widely appreciated for promoting cultural harmony and providing a meaningful platform for local talent. Such cultural initiatives play a vital role in strengthening community bonds and encouraging artistic expression across the region.
