District Hospital Kishtwar has achieved a significant milestone by securing the second position among the top five performing District Hospitals in Jammu and Kashmir, according to the ranking of health facilities and best-performing districts released by the National Health Mission J&K.
In a remarkable feat of determination and teamwork, the District Hospital Kishtwar has swiftly climbed from the 19th position to an impressive 2nd position. This achievement stands as a testament to the unwavering commitment and dedication of the hospital’s staff and officers, alongside the Health Department Kishtwar.
Their relentless efforts have not only transformed healthcare in the region but have also demonstrated the potential for substantial progress in a short span of time. These efforts have led to various initiatives aimed at enhancing and upgrading health facilities in the district hospital including for the first time, QR code-based OPD registration services have been launched in the hospitals for the easiness of patients.Furthermore, substantial improvements have been made to the hospital’s infrastructure in recent times besides ensuring better healthcare delivery including the introduction of tele-consultation services to cater to remote areas like Kuntwara etc.Dr. Yudveer Singh commended the people of Kishtwar and encouraged patients and the community to continue their cooperation with the District Hospital authorities to achieve even better outcomes.
