The Jammu and Kashmir Government has initiated a reshuffle of five JKAS officers, with the General Administration Department issuing an order on Wednesday to facilitate these transfers and postings in the interest of the administration. Here are the details of the personnel changes:
Accident on Bandipora-Srinagar Highway One Dead, Two Critical
- Dr. Neha Sharma, who holds the rank of Jr. Scale JKAS and currently serves as Tehsildar (Hqr) with AIGR in Jammu, has been reassigned to the role of Under Secretary within the J&K Services Selection Board.
- Mohammad Rafie, another Jr. Scale JKAS officer, who currently holds the position of Excise & Taxation Officer in the Eradication Wing in Jammu, is being transferred, with his services being made available to the Social Welfare Department.
- Mohammad Iqbal Mir, holding the Jr. Scale JKAS designation and currently serving as Under Secretary to the Government in the School Education Department, is being relocated with his services placed at the disposal of the Cooperatives Department.
- Rubia Afroz Inqalabi, also a Jr. Scale JKAS officer and currently working as Under Secretary to the Government in the Higher Education Department, is being transferred with her services being put at the disposal of the Rural Development Department.
- Jahid Azad, a Jr. Scale JKAS officer who is currently serving as the Block Development Officer (BDO) in Chitragam, Shopian, is being transferred with his services placed at the disposal of the Tourism Department.
These administrative changes have been implemented to optimize the functioning of various government departments in Jammu and Kashmir.
