India Unveils Tallest National Flag at Attari-Wagah Border
In a remarkable display of national pride, India has raised its tallest national flag at the Attari-Wagah border. This towering flag stands at an impressive 418 feet in height, surpassing Pakistan’s national flag by 18 feet.
The monumental flag, a testament to India’s commitment to its national identity, was installed by the National Highway Authority of India. The inauguration of this symbol of unity took place with great honor and pride, with Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann leading the ceremony in Amritsar.
A Visual Spectacle of National Pride
The flag’s presence is not only a testament to India’s sovereignty but also serves as a visual spectacle for all to see. It stands as a symbol of the country’s rich history, diverse culture, and unwavering unity.
India’s flag at the Attari-Wagah border not only surpasses the Pakistani flag in height but also holds the record as the tallest national flag in the country. This incredible display of patriotism serves as a source of inspiration and national pride for all.
The flag in Pakistan, known as Parcham-e-Sitarah-o-Hilal, was installed earlier this August on the other side of the border. It’s noteworthy that the Indian flag, standing tall at 418 feet, surpasses the one previously holding the record as the second tallest national flag in India, which was located in Karnataka’s Belagavi.
