ADGP Jammu Visits GMC Doda to Check on Injured Police Personnel from Gandoh Encounter
Doda June 27th, 2024: Additional Director General of Police, Jammu Zone, Shri Anand Jain, IPS, paid a visit to the Government Medical College (GMC) in Doda today. His visit was to enquire about the health and welfare of SgCt. Ashiq Hussain, Belt No 551/D EXJ 066800, who sustained bullet injuries in an encounter at Gandoh, Bhaderwah sector of district Doda yesterday. SgCt. Ashiq Hussain, posted with SDPO Gandoh as a Personal Security Officer (PSO), is currently undergoing treatment at GMC, Doda.
During his visit to GMC Doda, ADGP Jammu was accompanied by SSP Doda. Together, they met with the injured SgCt. Ashiq Hussain to assess his condition and reassure him of the support from the Police department.
ADGP Anand Jain assured SgCt. Hussain that he would receive the best possible medical care at GMC Doda. The ADGP personally requested the doctors to ensure that SgCt. Hussain receives the highest standard of medical treatment available.
ADGP Jammu conveyed his heartfelt wishes for SgCt. Hussain’s speedy recovery. He emphasized that the Police department would provide all necessary assistance to facilitate his treatment and rehabilitation.
The visit underscored the commitment of the Jammu Police to the welfare of its personnel, especially those who risk their lives in the line of duty. The ADGP’s presence and assurance of comprehensive support highlighted the department’s solidarity and concern for its injured members.
