Eid-ul-Adha celebrated with joy, religious fervour in Doda
DODA, JUNE 17: The festival of Eid-ul-Adha was celebrated with great enthusiasm and religious fervor in Doda, as a large gathering from the Muslim community offered Eid Prayers at Eidgah Doda, this morning.
The Imam of Jamia Masjid Doda led the namaz, which was attended by Deputy Commissioner Doda, Harvinder Singh, SSP, Javaid Iqbal, ADC, Sudarshan Kumar, ACR, Sunil Kumar Bhutyal and other senior civil and police officers.
The occasion was marked by a spirit of unity and communal harmony as people came together to celebrate this auspicious festival.Eid prayers were also conducted at various other locations across District Doda, where similar scenes of devotion and celebration were observed.
The District Administration Doda has made elaborate security and other necessary arrangements to ensure the smooth and peaceful conduct of the festival.The DC also interacted with members of the Muslim community and extended heartfelt Eid greetings.
