Ghulam Nabi Azad Urges Public to Support G M Saroori, Reject Exploiters
Chairman DPAP, Ghulam Nabi Azad, has called upon the public to be vigilant and not to be swayed by those who have a history of exploiting the masses. Speaking at a public gathering in Thatri, Kishtwar, where he was rallying support for the party’s Lok Sabha candidate, G M Saroori, Azad passionately urged the people to rally behind Saroori and the values he represents.
He emphasized the urgent need for change and urged voters to support a candidate who champions fairness and equality, regardless of caste or religion. Azad stressed the importance of electing leaders who are committed to serving all constituents, promoting inclusivity, and fostering mutual respect.

Azad reaffirmed his commitment to justice for people of all religions and highlighted his track record of non-discrimination. He stated, “Our mission is to uplift the poor and be their voice. While other parties have exploited people in the name of religion, we remain steadfast in our commitment to deliver justice.” Azad has consistently urged his party leaders to advocate for the rights of everyone, irrespective of their religious beliefs, be it Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, or Christian.
He also pointed out the neglect of the Chenab Valley by other political parties, expressing his personal connection to the region’s people. Azad emphasized that while other parties have exploited the votes of the people without delivering on their promises, his party has actively worked to develop infrastructure like colleges, roads, schools, universities, hospitals, and gardens. He assured the people of the Chenab Valley that his party’s commitment to their progress is unwavering, but their support is crucial to continue this momentum.

Azad reminded the audience of his passionate speeches in Parliament concerning Article 370 and statehood. While acknowledging the government’s agreement to restore statehood, he stressed that the journey is far from over. Azad urged the people to intensify their efforts and rely on their unwavering support to achieve full statehood.
Furthermore, he promised that if people support the DPAP’s mission, the party will introduce legislation in the State Assembly to safeguard the job and land rights of locals. Azad also expressed the party’s commitment to restoring the Roshni scheme, which was aimed at benefiting the underprivileged.
In conclusion, Azad urged voters to make informed choices based on the candidates’ track records. He emphasized the importance of supporting candidates who are genuinely dedicated to serving the community’s interests and upholding the values of justice, inclusivity, and equality.
