Government Appoints Dr. Minu Mahajan:Appointment Announcement

Government on Friday announced the appointment of Dr. Minu Mahajan (Rtd. Principal) as the Chairperson of the Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examination (JKBOPEE). The decision comes in line with the powers vested by the Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examination Act, 2002.

“In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 4 read with Section 6 of the Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examination Act, 2002, the Lieutenant Governor of Union territory of Jammu and Kashmir is pleased to appoint Dr. Minu Mahajan (Rtd. Principal), as Chairperson, Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examination,” reads a government order, a copy of which lies with GNS.

Dr. Minu Mahajan’s appointment comes with a tenure of two years or until she reaches the age of 65, whichever comes first. The effective date of her appointment is the day she assumes office.
