Allegations and Denials

Following the raid, Amba Prasad claims she was pressured by BJP to contest from Hazaribag in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, which she refused. She also mentions pressure from RSS to contest from Chatra. Prasad asserts her commitment to Congress and denies any wrongdoing.

Money Laundering Complaint

A complaint of money laundering was filed against Prasad in 2023. The ED sought information from Jharkhand Police regarding FIRs and any predicate offenses registered against her.
