The Jammu and Kashmir Disaster Management Authority (JKDMA) issued avalanche warnings for various districts. Residents in Bandipore, Baramulla, Kupwara, and Ganderbal are under low-danger alert for the next 24 hours.
Precautionary measures are advised, and people are urged to avoid avalanche-prone areas.
In Doda, Kishtwar, Poonch, and Ramban districts, the danger level is categorized as medium. Immediate precautions are recommended for residents in these areas, and entering higher-altitude avalanche-prone zones is discouraged.
The JKDMA statement emphasizes the potential danger and urges people to dial 112 for help.
