Government Shuffles Administrative Roles in Jammu and Kashmir
In a move aimed at enhancing administrative efficiency, the Government of Jammu and Kashmir made significant personnel transfers and postings on Monday, effective immediately.
Reshaping Roles in Key Departments
Sunil Kumar Sharma, Private Secretary, has been transferred from the Department of Public Grievances to join the Tribal Affairs Department. Meanwhile, Zubair Mushtaq, Junior Stenographer, is assigned to the personal section of the Administrative Secretary within the Tribal Affairs Department. A series of similar adjustments follow, with junior stenographers finding new roles in various departments.
Diverse Placements for Junior Stenographers
Junior Stenographers like Shubam Gupta, Aakash Kumar, Shavana Akhter, and others are strategically placed in departments such as Tourism, Hospitality and Protocol, Agriculture Production, and more, to contribute to the effective functioning of the government.
Wider Impact Across Departments
The transfers extend beyond stenographers, affecting roles in the Social Welfare Department, Finance Department, and Cooperative Department, among others. Gajraj Singh, for instance, moves from Social Welfare to the J&K Special Tribunal, while several MTS (Orderly) personnel find themselves relocated to different departments.
The order concludes with a notable directive, stating that “All the officials shall be deemed to have been relieved,” signaling a comprehensive restructuring of the administrative landscape in the region.
