    RBI Governor Projects 7 Percent Growth Rate for Indian Economy in Next Fiscal Year

    Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Governor Shaktikanta Das stated that the Indian economy is expected to achieve a growth rate of 7% in the next fiscal year, emphasizing the nation’s growth and stability amid a challenging global economic environment. Speaking at a CII session during the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting, Das credited recent structural reforms by the government for boosting India’s medium and long-term growth prospects. He highlighted the country’s strong domestic demand, making it the fastest-growing major economy, and expressed confidence in achieving the 4% inflation target, with an average CPI inflation of 4.5% expected next year.
